Fill in material data with Claude

Before you start

• Claude is connected to go4.fashion.
• Your role has Create & edit products. An Owner or Admin sets it in Settings → Team → Roles.

Fill in the material with Claude

1. 1In a chat with Claude, attach the spec sheet, label photo or invoice. Ask Claude to fill in the material from it, and name the material.
2. 2Check the preview against your document. It lists each field with its new value and any change in the material's readiness. Nothing is saved yet. If a value is wrong, tell Claude and check the new preview.
   WarningThe preview can say it overwrites a value someone verified in go4.fashion. To keep that value, ask Claude to leave the field out.
3. 3Answer yes. Claude confirms the change is saved.
   ImportantClaude does not add your document to the material. To keep it with the material, upload it in Documents & sources.

Check the result

In Production → Materials, open the material. Under a new value in Specification or Compliance, you see Claude and the date. Next to it are Unverified and Mark as verified. A new fibre composition shows its shares and their total.

Other situations

If it does not work

• Claude says your role cannot change products, or names a “Manage products” permission — your role lacks Create & edit products. Ask an Owner or Admin to turn it on.
• Claude says go4.fashion does not accept a value, for example composition shares that do not add up to 100%. Nothing is saved. Correct the value or ask Claude to leave it out, then answer yes to the new preview.
• Claude cannot undo the change — 24 hours have passed, or someone changed the value in go4.fashion. Correct the value on the material card.
