Add certificates and test results with Claude

The certificate or test result from your document appears on the material card.

Before you start

  • Claude is connected to go4.fashion.
  • Your role has Create & edit products in Settings → Team → Roles.
  • To attach the certificate or report file, first add it to the material in Documents & sources.

Add a certificate or test result

  1. 1In a chat with Claude, name the material and give the details from the document:
    • for a certificate — the standard, number, holder and the dates it is valid. To attach the file, give its name from Documents & sources.
    • for a test result — the test, the value and who tested it: the supplier, a lab or your team. Give shrinkage in length and in width as two results.
    • For example: “Add an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate to Lambswool 2/24. Number MAKE-TEST-015, holder Måke test mill, valid to 30.09.2027.”
  2. 2Check the preview against the document. For a certificate without a file, Claude warns that it will show as Unverified.
  3. 3Answer yes. Claude confirms the certificate or result is saved. To undo the change within 24 hours, see “Fill in material data with Claude”.

Check the result

Go to Production → Materials and open the material.

  • A certificate has its own row under Certificates in the Compliance card. The row shows the standard, number, holder and end date, with Unverified or File attached.
  • A test result has its own row in the Performance card, for example Pilling resistance 4/5 with Lab test.

If it does not work

  • Claude says the material has no such file in Documents & sources — the file is not on the material yet. Add the file, then ask Claude again.
  • Claude says the material already has this certificate with this number — it is saved already. Check Certificates on the material card.
Next
  • Verify a certificate in the issuer's registry — you do this on the material card, not in Claude.
  • Add a material file — Claude attaches only a file already on the material.
