A change in email — sales and the workshop on different versions
A change to fibre composition, fabric, a button, the size chart, cost or price often lands in one file or one email and never reaches everyone. Sales, production, the warehouse and suppliers then work from different versions of the same style. The result is a wrong label, wrong sewing, a wrong B2B price or material ordered against an old recipe.

Product data is in many files at once
BOM (Bill of Materials) — the recipe of materials and trims used per style.
Tech pack / Production Card — the set of data the workshop needs: construction, measurements, materials, instructions, documents.
In a small brand, measurements are in a spreadsheet, the sketch in a PDF, the colourway in Docs, approval in email. A filename like "FINAL_v3" does not guarantee the workshop replaces the old version. The closer the brand gets to production and labels, the more expensive it is to work from outdated data.
One product card and a release of the version to the workshop
We solve scattered versions with one product card, so sales and production read the same current data.

- the Release panel on the product card shows gaps in construction, measurements, BOM and costs, samples and files; releasing saves a version of the card from that day
- composition and care labels take data from the BOM / materials; the production order shows instructions from the card
A change is entered in one place; it then goes to materials, labels and production from the same card — without a separate "FINAL" in Drive.
Steps
- 1On the product card, style data is updated (variants, BOM, measurements, construction, instructions, documents).
- 2Once the data is closed, a version is released to the workshop (Release); Factory ready is set by the brand.
