Confirm a maker's reply

The production order is confirmed with the quantities, prices and dates the maker agreed to.

Accept the maker's changes

  1. 1In Production → Production Orders, open the order with the status Changes proposed. Click Review changes. The Review proposed changes panel lists every line with the maker's quantity, price and ex-factory date. Ex-factory is the day the goods leave the maker.
  2. 2Compare each line. In every column, the maker's value is on top and your ordered value is under it. The maker's note stands next to them. Choose what to do with the proposal:
    WhenChooseWhat changes
You agree with the maker's values“Accept 1 change” at the bottom of the panelThe order is confirmed with the maker's values
You disagreeChange the values in “Items” and send the next revision. See “Change a sent production order”The maker replies to the new revision
    • When you click Accept 1 change, the panel closes without a message. The status changes to Confirmed with changes, and the next button reads Issue materials.
“was €28.00” is the price you ordered. “as requested” means the maker kept your value.

Check the result

The status reads Confirmed with changes. In Items, the line shows the agreed price, for example €31.00. In Terms, Ex-factory confirmed stands under Ex-factory requested.

Other situations

Record a reply the maker gave by phone or email

Use this when the maker confirmed outside the secure link, and the order still shows Awaiting reply.

  1. 1On the order card, click Record reply.
  2. 2In Maker order ref, type the maker's confirmation number. If the maker gave a date, set Ex-factory. Check the quantities in Confirmed; they start at the ordered quantities.
  3. 3Click Confirm order. The status changes to Confirmed, without a message.

The maker confirms without changes

Use this when the maker accepts the order as sent.

  1. 1Open the order. It already shows Confirmed and the Issue materials button. You have nothing to accept.

If it does not work

  • Accept 1 change is greyed out with “1 change on this order not sent yet” — your own change still waits on the bar at the bottom. Click Cancel. On the bar, click Discard changes, or send the revision (“Change a sent production order”). Then click Review changes again.
Next
  • Follow production at the maker — the confirmed order moves on to sewing.
  • Change a sent production order — when you do not accept the maker's proposal.
