Close the order after its last delivery and settle the pieces the maker never shipped.
Close the order
- 1In Production → Production Orders, open the order. Click the three dots (⋮) and click Close order.
- 2If the maker has not shipped every piece, choose under Still in production what happens to the rest. Close order stays inactive until you choose.
- Cancel them — their lots are set to 0 and archived.
- Write them off — their lots stay, marked written off.
- 3Closing cannot be undone: the order takes no more progress reports, shipments or receipts. Click Close order.
Check the result
On the order card, the status reads Closed.
Other situations
Cancel an order that will not be made
Use this when the order has not been sent and will not be produced.
- 1On the order card, click the three dots (⋮) and click Cancel order.WarningCancelling cannot be undone. The lines and documents stay on the order.
- 2In the Cancel order window, click Cancel order. The status reads Cancelled, and the menu keeps only Open maker and Archive. No message appears.
Hide an order from lists
Use this when a closed or cancelled order clutters the list.
- 1On the order card, click the three dots (⋮) and click Archive.
- 2In the window, click Archive. The message “Order archived” appears, and you return to the Production orders list without the order. The order is hidden from lists; it is not deleted.
If it does not work
- The panel says “This order cannot be closed yet”, and Close order stays inactive — a shipment the maker announced is not received. Click Open Goods and receive it, see “Receive a delivery from a maker”.
