Agree who supplies fabric and trims

Set who supplies fabric, lining, trims, labels and packaging, and who does each stage. The maker gets this list with the order.

Before you start

  • You have a draft production order. See “Create a production order from a run”.

Set who supplies what

  1. 1In Production → Production Orders, open the draft. In the Overview tab, find Responsibilities. Its first row is Model. Choose the model that matches your deal with the maker:
    WhenChooseWhat the maker does
you supply all materials and the pattern, and finish and pack yourself“CM”cuts and sews only
you supply fabric, lining, trims, labels and packaging“CMT”makes the pattern and does every stage up to final inspection and transport out
you supply fabric, lining, trims and labels, and the maker packs in its own packaging“CMP”the same as with CMT, and supplies the packaging
the maker supplies everything“Full package”every row, including materials and transport in
    • Pick the model in Model. Every row below switches to your brand or the maker. The change is saved at once, with no Save button.
  2. 2Change the rows that differ in this order. In each one, pick who handles it: your brand, the maker, the maker's subcontractor or Not needed. The row shows your choice, and Model changes to Hybrid.
ImportantWhen your brand supplies fabric, lining, trims or labels, Readiness on the order lists Materials at maker as missing. It stays missing until the materials reach the maker. With Full package, Materials at maker is not on the list.
With Labels changed to your brand, Model shows Hybrid.

Check the result

Responsibilities shows the model, or Hybrid, and your brand or the maker in each row.
