The maker gets a new revision of the order with the changed quantity, and confirms it again.
Before you start
- The production order is sent, and it is not closed or cancelled. See “Send a production order to a maker”.
Change a quantity and send a new revision
- 1In Production → Production Orders, open the order. In Items, type the new number in Ordered and press Enter. Under the number you see “was 5 pcs”. A bar below reads “1 change · revision 2 not sent to Szwalnia Podlaska”.
The maker still sees the old revision until you send the new one from the bar. - 2On the bar, click Send revision 2. The panel lists each change as “product · colour · size: old → new”. All changes on the list go out in this revision. In Message, write why the order changes; the maker reads it. Until you write it, the panel shows “This order cannot be sent yet”.
- 3Send the revision.WarningSending emails the maker the new revision. The maker's earlier confirmation stops applying, and the maker confirms again.
- Click Send revision 2 in the panel. The message reads “Revision 2 sent to 1 contact”.
Check the result
The order shows Awaiting reply and the label Rev 2. Items show the new quantity. A notice gives the date the maker should reply by.
Other situations
Raise the run plan first
Use this when the panel shows a message that ends with “raise the plan first, then order.”
- 1In the panel, click Cancel. Your change stays on the bar.
- 2In Production → Production Runs, open the run and go to Run plan. Expand the product, type the new number for the size and click Save. The message reads “Quantity saved”.
The new number counts only after Save. - 3Go back to the order. On the bar, click Send revision 2, write the Message and click Send revision 2.
Add a size or colour the order does not have
Use this when you need a size or colour that is not in the sent order.
- 1Create a second production order for the same maker from the run. See “Create a production order from a run”.
Discard the changes
Use this when you change your mind before sending.
- 1On the bar, click Discard changes. All unsent changes go back at once, without a confirmation window. The order shows the revision the maker has.
Change a price
Use this when the agreed price of a line changes after sending.
- 1In Items, type the new price in Price and press Enter. The change waits on the same bar as a quantity.
- 2Send the revision with steps 2 and 3 above.
Remove a line
Use this when the maker should stop making a line.
- 1Open the line's menu ⋮ and choose Remove line. The line shows “Removed — sent with the next revision”. To keep the line, choose Undo remove in the same menu before you send.
- 2Send the revision with steps 2 and 3 above. After sending, the line is gone from Items.
