Find where a colour and size is stored

Follow a colour and size from the stock list to the warehouse and the bin that holds the pieces, and read which order they are promised to.

Already in the app	The colour's line has at least one piece in the situation you need — with “Total” at zero, “Where?” is inactive.

1Click “Where?” on the line of the colour you need. A side panel opens under the heading “Where is it?”, with the product's name and its number below it. The panel opens narrowed to the colour and the situation you clicked.
Every situation of a colour has its own “Where?” — the one you click decides which pieces the panel opens with.
2Read the field “Lots”: the colour's name, the size tag, the state badge and the piece count. Below it, a line such as “23 pcs in 2 lots” says how many pieces and how many lots the cards cover.
ImportantA lot that has left the shelf carries the name of one of your production stages in its badge instead of “Free” or “Reserved”. That name tells you the pieces are not in a bin today.
3Read “Location” on the lot's card. “Lot no” beside it names the lot, and “Added” gives the date the pieces were received.
“Location” carries both parts of the address: the warehouse and the bin inside it.
4Compare the address with the warehouse you are walking to.
ImportantBin numbers repeat between warehouses, so the bin code alone does not say which warehouse to walk to. A warehouse without bin addressing shows only its own name in “Location”.
5Read “Reserved for” on the same card. It gives the order number, the customer's name and a link to the order; a lot without that field is free.

6Open the field “Lots” to change which lots the cards show.

“Location” on the lot's card names a warehouse and a bin inside it — that pair is the address you walk to.

What you see	Why	What to do
“Where?” on a colour's line is inactive	That line has “Total” at zero, so there is nothing to find.	Click “Where?” on a line whose “Total” is above zero.
The panel reads “Nothing here — pick another lot.”	The entry you picked in “Lots” has no lots.	Pick another entry in “Lots”, or “All lots”.

Correct a lot's count or write it off — the count in the bin does not match the card.
Release or change a reservation — the card says who the pieces are promised to; this is how that promise changes.
