The lot's piece count matches what you counted in the box. A correction leaves the lot on the shelf with the new number; a write-off takes it off stock as a loss.

Correct the count in a lot
- 1Open the lot list for the colour and size: expand the product's row and click “Where?” on the colour's line. The panel “Where is it?” opens with the “Lots” field and the line “N pcs in M lots”.
- 2Pick the lot you counted. Each card names the warehouse and the bin in “Location”, its “Lot no” and its “Added” date, so you can tell two lots of the same colour and size apart. A lot promised to an order carries “Reserved for” with the order number as well.
- 3Open the lot card's menu, the icon titled “Lot actions”, and pick what your case calls for. “Adjust quantity…” stands in the middle of the list, “Write off…” at the end, below a dividing line and marked as a warning.

- 5The button turns active once the number is whole, not negative and different from the current count. Click “Adjust quantity”.
Check the result
The message reads “Quantity adjusted”, and the lot card you started from shows the new piece count.
Other situations
Write a lot off as a loss
The pieces are gone and will not come back — destroyed in transit, lost, or handed out as a sample or a gift.
- 1Pick “Write off…” in the “Lot actions” menu. The window opens under the line “Removes this lot from stock as a loss. This is final and reported separately from sales.”WarningOn a lot promised to an order, the window names that order, and the line goes on: “Writing it off releases that reservation — the order gets cover from another lot if one is free, otherwise it goes back to waiting.” An order being picked adds “, which is being picked right now” to the same line.
- 2Pick the loss category in “Reason”: “Damaged”, “Lost / missing”, “Sample”, “Gift” or “Other”. Add a detail in “Note” if you have one, under the hint “Optional detail — e.g. damaged beyond repair”. The two save as one reason, for example “Damaged — soaked box”.WarningGo4 has no undo for a write-off. Pieces come back on stock only as a new lot, and the write-off itself is written down in one place: the “Written off” row with this reason on the “Movements” tab.
The reason you pick here is what the movement log will show; the red button ends the lot for good. - 3The red “Write off” button turns active once a reason is there. Click it.
