Booking the label sends the customs invoice and the export clearance card with the shipment. On the shipment, Customs shows whether they went electronically or on paper.

Add the customs details
- 1Open “Ship with UPS” and read “Goods”. go4.fashion lists each packed line with its description, quantity, commodity code and value, and shows “Goods value” under the table.How it worksA parcel leaving the EU is cleared on a customs invoice. The card names which clearance to run, whether the freight sits in the goods price, and what is in the boxes. go4.fashion fills the invoice and the card from this shipment, and the booking carries both.
- 2Under “Export clearance card · UPS”, set “Clearance”. The line under the field states the goods value, the weight, and whether this shipment sits under or over €1,000 and 1,000 kg. The threshold is counted in euro.
If… Choose… This changes… You want the export confirmation that supports 0% VAT “Final export — IE599 / CC599C confirmation required (proof for 0% VAT)” UPS runs an individual export declaration. This is the default, including when the goods sit under the threshold. The goods are at or under €1,000 and 1,000 kg, and you can clear them without that confirmation “No confirmation — no individual declaration (≤ €1,000 and ≤ 1,000 kg)” There is no individual declaration and no IE599 / CC599C confirmation. The goods are already cleared, or they are in transit “Already cleared in Poland or in transit — MRN/LRN” The panel asks for “MRN / LRN”. - Read “Contents”. Change it when the sentence on the card should differ from the goods.
- 3Set “Transport cost”. “Goods value” is the packed lines. This field is the freight on the card.
If… Choose… This changes… Freight is charged separately “Not included in the goods price” The amount is the “Shipping” extra on the order, or the UPS price when the order has no “Shipping” extra. This is the default. The goods price already contains the freight “Included in the goods price” The card states the freight inside the goods price. - 4Leave “Paperless” on. Its label is “Send customs documents electronically (UPS Paperless)”. The customs invoice and the card go with the label.ImportantTurn “Paperless” off when you will print the invoice and the card and put them in a pouch on Box 1. After booking, “Customs” then reads “Paper — print for the pouch”.
- 5“Book with UPS” buys the label. Click it when the clearance, the freight and “Paperless” match what you want on the documents.

On the shipment, “Customs” reads “Electronic (UPS Paperless)”.
